Alex Nelson’s clinical background includes treating patients in various settings that include inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient, acute care, home health and an audiology clinic. She has a wealth of experience treating those with vestibular and balance disorders, Parkinson’s Disease, pediatrics, Multiple Sclerosis and movement disorders.

She works one-on-one with individuals to maximize function and improve quality of life. She is actively involved in physical therapy research at the U.S Department of Veteran Affairs, as a research assistant to the Gait and Balance Lab, and she co-founded AdaptoPlay; a non-profit organization dedicated to adaptive play and therapy for children.
